I tried my first attempt at taking shots of the moon last night using the XT10. Getting the aperture correct and everything in focus is difficult. There is a time to acclimate for the mirrors transition from warm to cold, which I think plays a role in the lack of clarity around the corners of the image. A small 5 volt fan at the bottom of the telescope should help next time. Focus issues aside, it is definitely an incredible sight.
